Six Bells

This general view of Six Bells was taken from outside Paul's Londis store. To the left is Eastville Road and that can take you up to Six Bells Park and if you go straight down the road this takes you into Bridge Street. This is Alexandra Road. The second turning to the left can bring you up to High Street

Here you are entering Six Bells at Victoria Road coming up from Newport and neighbouring towns and villages like Risca, Abercarn, Newbridge, Crumlin and Llanhilleth. To the left is the Six Bells Hotel and there used to be a newsagent's next door up to this that is known as Brown's Corner

Bridge Street. To the left is the turning up the hill to Windsor Road and High Street. To the right is the bus stop on the route to Brynmawr. Alexandra Road joins this.

The X15 service bus to Newport has just left the bus stop and is heading to Bridge Street

Once you turn around the cornner by the ex newsagents you come into Bridge Street. Here is the front of the house that was Muriel Brown's newsagent and opposite is a house that used to be known as The Old Post Office at the bottom of Graig Road to the left. This used to be a greengrocers called Evans's.
